Reflections On Our Life in Jesus Christ

Today’s Bible Reading (from Biblegateway.com): Job 5-7; Acts 8:1-25
Friday’s: Job 8-10; Acts 8:26-40       Saturday’s: Job 11-13; Acts 9:1-21
Sunday’s: Job 14-16; Acts 9:22-43    Monday’s: Job 17-19; Acts 10:1-23

The Bible says we’re all sinners with hearts that are more wicked than we can imagine, yet humanists insist we are inherently good, so you be the judge in this newsworthy story. PEZ Candy hosts an annual Easter egg hunt in its hometown of Orange, Connecticut, but had to abruptly cancel last year’s event because of the adults. The child-focused tradition turned into chaos on March 26, 2016 when parents stormed the egg-covered fields before the event even started. Over 9,000 eggs were placed on three separate fields with each designed for certain age groups. Before the PEZ staff was ready to begin, parents rushed onto the first field to get a head start. Then like swarming locusts, they hurried their children from the first field to the second and third fields. Before the posted start time arrived, everything was gone.[1]

“The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; Who can understand it?” (Jeremiah 17:9, NASB).
