Reflections On Our Life in Jesus Christ
Today’s Bible Reading (from Biblegateway.com): Judges 1-3; Luke 4:1-30
Friday’s: Judges 4-6; Luke 4:31-44 Saturday’s: Judges 7-8; Luke 5:1-16
Sunday’s: Judges 9-10; Luke 5:17-39 Monday’s: Judges 11-12; Luke 6:1-26
Our Lord certainly does move in mysterious and magnificent ways! Even in the midst of all the confusion and uncertainty, it’s easy to see His hand moving in and through the world around us if we will but open our eyes. As Brent mentioned during last Sunday’s worship service, just a short few weeks ago, Airport Rd would not have been able to stream our worship services live. Now that we find ourselves in a position where worshipping together remotely is temporarily the prudent thing to do, our streaming capabilities are up and running and lightyears beyond where we were just a month ago. Our thanks to John Gentry and crew for all their hard work in that area of ministry. Even beyond the unusual state of affairs surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, we are reaching some with the gospel who may not otherwise have the opportunity to hear it.
One individual who worshipped remotely with us last Sunday emailed me and said, “I was supposed to be listening today and I’m so glad I did…When I feel overwhelmed, I will pray and I will talk about what the fears are out loud, so my mind can calm down and let me know, it will be okay. I will Pray, I will Plan, and I will Proceed. I will not let Satan win anymore! I can and I will succeed in my battles against Satan. Thank you so much. You have no idea how much you have helped me.”
Yes, God moves in mysterious and magnificent ways! And He does so at just the right times and in such times as these!
