Reflections On Our Life in Jesus Christ

Today’s Bible Reading (from Judges 19-21; Luke 7:31-50
Friday’s: Ruth 1-4; Luke 8:1-25        Saturday’s: 1 Samuel 1-3; Luke 8:26-56
Sunday’s: 1 Samuel 4-6; Luke 9:1-17           Monday’s: 1 Samuel 7-9; Luke 9:18-36

A 30-second ad in the 2017 Super Bowl cost $5 million. Experts have debated the value of such expensive ads for that large-scale audience, but Kraft Heinz didn’t even enter the discussion. Rather than using millions of dollars for a commercial, the ketchup and condiment conglomerate gave their employees the day off after the Super Bowl. People weren’t talking about their commercial the next day and their unique action didn’t attract much press, but you can be sure that investment in their employees will reap significant dividends because people are always the best ads.[1]

Speaking of which: what kind of “ad” are you for Christ?  What impression of Christ do you leave with those in which you come into contact?  If God and His Son are not glorified by your actions and language, then what does that say about your witness?
