Prison Ministry

This program was developed to preach the gospel in state prisons with correspondence courses, on-site classes, and one-on-one Bible study. It reaches facilities in Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Walton Counties.  Bible Correspondence Courses are provided to inmates free of charge and a self-addressed pre-paid envelope is provided with each lesson to enable the inmate to return lessons for grading. At the completion of each course, a certificate is provided to the student. This 2010 article from the Christian Chronicle entitled Faith Behind Bars will help you see the difference that Prison Ministry can make in the life of an inmate.

If you have a friend or relative who is in a local correctional facility or if you would like to volunteer to help with the Prison Ministry, please let us know.

“Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’  Matthew 25:39-40
